EV charging stations (also called electric vehicle service equipment or "EVSE") are specialty chargers that connect to your electrical vehicle. These stations are typically found in parking lots for public use, at retail locations or private workplaces, or set up at an individual’s home. They are intended to charge the vehicle’s battery efficiently, but this can vary depending on the charger level.

There are three different levels of electric car charging stations—Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3:

• Level 1 charger: Most EV owners charge their cars at home using this charger that is provided upon purchase of the vehicle.
